MADISON (WKOW) -- A Madison man was arrested after police say he punched out a front window at downtown bar.

The incident happened early Saturday morning at State Street Brats. The Madison Police Department says Brandon D. Porter, 24, became disruptive, threatened a manager and hit a bouncer.

Staff members escorted Porter outside, where he put his fist through the double pane glass. Officers were able to catch him as he ran toward Lake Street.

Police say Porter had a cut to his arm and needed to be stitched up before he went to jail. He was arrested for Battery, Criminal Damage to Property, and two counts of Disorderly Conduct.
