MADISON (WKOW) -- If your New Year's resolution is to get organized, maybe clean out that closet, you may be able to help people in need at the same time.
The collection pile of winter clothing is growing at the Greater Madison Convention and Visitors Bureau. It's collecting new or gently used winter wear as part of "The Big Bundle Up" clothing drive, a statewide effort to keep Wisconsin warm.
Time is running out to donate, so act fast. The campaign ends Friday.
More than 100 pounds of clothing has been donated at the Visitors Bureau so far and 17,000 items statewide.
If you want to help you can bring clothing to the GMCVB at 615 E. Washington. It's closed Tuesday and Wednesday, but open Thursday and Friday.
