MADISON (WKOW) -- Deputies say they arrested a Madison man on Tuesday for his 6th OWI offense.
Officers first stopped a vehicle driven by Ronald Essie, 52, because they say he was weaving in and out of his lane on southbound I-39 in the town of Windsor.
Deputies determined he was under the influence of an intoxicant and was taken into custody.
The Dane County Sheriff's Department says Essie was taken to the hospital and will be booked into the jail on a sixth offense of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
