Union South hosts bowl game watch party

MADISON (WKOW) -- Badger fans who couldn't make it to Orlando for the Capital One Bowl had the chance to watch it at Union South.

The building is normally closed for a few weeks of winter break, but it opened Wednesday for the watch party. With an 18-foot HD screen and plenty to eat and drink, the Sett at Union South was the place to be.

Fans were obviously disappointed that the Badgers lost, but they told us they're proud of the team, win or lose.

"I thought it was fantastic. I thought they represented Wisconsin very well, and it's a class act to tell you the truth, a class act," said Badger fan Larry Schmaltz.

Fans we spoke to say they are already looking forward to next season.
