MMSD closing Monday due to extreme weather


MADISON (WKOW) -- All Madison schools will be closed Monday, January 6, due to the extreme weather conditions.

All school buildings will be closed for the day and evening, including MSCR, athletics and other evening activities.

The Board of Education meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 8. 

Extreme cold is also in the forecast for Tuesday, January 7.  Madison Metropolitan School District is encouraging families to monitor local media and email for the status of school Tuesday.
