Local company donates hundreds of sweatshirts to homeless

MADISON (WKOW) -- A local company has donated dozens of sweatshirts to help those in need stay warm in these frigid conditions.
Madison Top Company, which specializes in screen printing, donated the sweatshirts to charities for the homeless, including Saint Vincent De Paul and The Road Home.
The sweatshirts were originally going to be donated at the end of the month, but Madison Top Company decided to donate them sooner because of the cold weather.

Aaron Frank, sales manager at the Top Company says "Through the month of December we ran a campaign called Mad City Cares and for every Hanes hooded sweatshirt our customers bought, we decided to donate a Hanes crew neck sweatshirt to the local homeless shelter, our owner, my father had an idea of doing it."

The company donated at least 500 sweatshirts on Monday, and say they plan on organizing more donation drives in the future.
