1 hurt in possible drive-by shooting in downtown Madison

MADISON (WKOW) -- A reported shooting happened in downtown Madison overnight.

Authorities say the call came in around 2:00 a.m. on Sunday for a shooting on the 100 block of East Gorham Street. The Madison Police Department says a white male in his twenties was injured and taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

They say officers found multiple shell casings and it was possibly a drive-by shooting. The suspect or suspects fled before police arrived.
