JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- A fire at a business in Janesville caused $5,000 of structural damages.
According to Janesville Fire Department, the fire started just after 7 a.m. Saturday at the American Farm Implement building on South River Street.
A worker had discover smoke filling the second floor of the building. Fire officials found the fire in a cargo type elevator.
The fire was extinguished and nobody was injured. The second floor was ventilated. The owner says he will be keeping an eye on the building for the rest of the day.
