Guilty plea entered in Kwik Trip homicide case

LA CROSSE (WKOW)-- A guilty plea has been entered in a fatal stabbing at a La Crosse convenience store.

23-year-old Brittany Jones entered the guilty plea of aiding a felon and bail jumping during her appearance in La Crosse County Circuit Court on Monday. She faces more than four years in prison. Jones is due to be sentenced on February 18th.

Jones' boyfriend, Mitrel Anderson is accused of killing 24-year-old DeMario Lee at the Kwik Trip store in June 2013. Police say Jones drove Anderson to Madison where they both were arrested a day later.

Anderson's trial is set to begin June 9th.
