MADISON (WKOW) -- Lawmakers are expecting more good news in the next fiscal report from the Department of Revenue.
Speaker of the Assembly Robin Vos says if there is a surplus, he wants to make sure it goes back to the taxpayers.
Vos says, "We don't know the numbers yet, but assuming that they are positive, I am committed that I know we could get a reduction in taxes passed through the assembly, we have plenty of time to do that."
Speaker Robin Vos says a deal could definitely get done before the legislature closes the current session this Spring.
