Three wanted in Park Street McDonald's attack

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Police are searching for three suspects after an altercation at the McDonald's on the 2400 block of Park Street.

Officers say a woman wanted a manager to refund her money after presenting him with a receipt from a different McDonald's restaurant. The manager told her he wouldn't be able to do that, and the woman became upset. After berating the employee she ordered her two sons, who were in the parking lot to come in and attack the manager. The manager says the two men hopped the counter, knocked him on the floor and punched him and tried hitting him with a coffee pot.
The woman and the two men then fled the scene in a green late 1990's model Pontiac Bonneville with Illinois license plates.

The woman is described as a middle-aged African American with a heavy build and long curly black hair.
Both men are described as African Americans in their late teens to early 20's.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspects is asked to call Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 266-6014.
