Madison man arrested after attacking bus driver

MADISON (WKOW) -- A Madison man is arrested after an early morning fight on a Megabus.

Madison police say the bus was parked on the 800 block of University Avenue picking up passengers around 2:30 a.m. Friday morning when 37-year-old Robert Taylor got on board.

Taylor requested a ticket to Milwaukee, but the driver told him that was not the buses destination.

Taylor then told the driver to drive to Milwaukee whether he liked it or not.

Police say the driver then told Taylor to get off the bus, and the two ended up in what witnesses call a wrestling match.

Nearby officers responded quickly to the scene, and arrested Taylor for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
