MADISON (WKOW) -- The University of Wisconsin-Extension's interim chancellor will come from in-house.
Interim provost and vice chancellor Aaron Brower will start as interim chancellor beginning February 15, pending approval by the UW System Board of Regents.
Brower has held executive positions at UW-Madison, where he also taught classes on educational innovations.
Brower takes over for Ray Cross, who was named the UW System president last week.
Regents are working on a plan to find a permanent replacement for Cross.
