Treatment ordered for Kvon Smith

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Madison man charged with sparking a threat at the state Capitol will receive mental health treatment from the state.

The Wisconsin State Journal reports Kvon Smith was found not guilty by mental disease or defect Friday.

A judge ordered the state to design a treatment plan for Smith.

He's been diagnosed with schizophrenia.

The 21-year-old was arrested last year after planning to use molotov cocktails at the Capitol before the State of the State address.
