JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- A Janesville house fire is estimated to have caused about $60,000 worth of damages.
According to the Janesville Fire Department, the fire happened around 11 a.m. Sunday on the 300 block of Rockport Road.
When fire officials arrived, smoke and flames were coming from a second story window. They were able to contain the fire to a single room.
Janesville Fire Department says estimated structural damage is $50,000, and there is an additional $10,000 estimated in other damages.
Two adults and four children were displaced into temporary housing.
Crews were on scene for two hours. The fire is under investigation.
