WEST BEND (WKOW) -- A young man from West Bend, WI was remembered Wednesday in prayers at the church where he grew up.
21-year-old Andrew Boldt was shot and killed Tuesday at Purdue University.
Saint Francis Cabrini Parish in West Bend had candles lit in Boldt's memory.
Six of his classmates at Marquette University High School met to share their memories of their friend.
"He was one of the brightest kids here, period. He was so smart and so gifted, and to see somebody taken away from our family, it hurts in that sense," says Jordan Cosby.
Funeral arrangements haven't been announced, yet.
The man accused of killing Andrew Boldt, 23-year-old fellow Purdue student Cody Cousins, has a court hearing Thursday.
Police have not said anything about motive in the killing, only that they believe it was an intentional act.
