BRISTOL (WKOW) -- Two people were injured in a single vehicle crash in the Town of Bristol Thursday morning.
Dane County Sheriff's deputies responded to the rollover on U.S. Highway 151 at about 9:10 a.m. Authorities say the driver, 42-year-old Sean Erickson, lost control on an icy patch of the road, rolling the vehicle several times before coming to rest on its side on the other side of the road.
Erickson was ejected from the vehicle. Police say he was not wearing a seatbelt.
Erickson's passenger, 33-year-old Kimberly O'Connor had to be extricated from the SUV. Police say she was wearing her seatbelt.
Erickson and O'Connor, both from Fond du Lac, were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities say Erickson will be cited for Failure to Maintain Control, no seatbelt, and no insurance.
