Woman pleads guilty in deadly bike crash


CHIPPEWA FALLS (WKOW) -- A 27 year-old woman has pleaded guilty to striking and killing a man biking in Western Wisconsin.

Krista Holler of Cadott plead guilty to one count of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle in the death of Robert Tschabrun. 27 News affiliate WQOW reports that authorities say Holler was drinking at a tavern before she stuck Tschabrun.

The 71-year old dentist was killed last June as he was biking near Stanley. A passer-by discovered his body in a ditch with the abandoned car. Holler is scheduled to be sentenced on April 10th. The charge carries a maximum penalty of 25 years in prison and a $100,000 fine.
