BELOIT (WKOW) -- The City of Beloit has declared a snow emergency lasting from early Sunday morning until Sunday afternoon.
It will be in effect from 3 a.m. until 1 p.m. Sunday. During this time, parking on the street is prohibited.
Residents are encouraged to stay at home and only travel when necessary. When traveling, use extreme caution.
Here is a list of alternative parking.
Krueger Park Upper Parking Lot – Hackett St. at House St. (entire lot).
Krueger Golf Course Lot - 1611 Hackett Street (south lot).
Wootten Park – 4th Street at Maple Avenue (south end between signs)
Riverside Park Rotary Center - 1220 Riverside Drive (two center rows between signs)
Riverside Park Jones Shelter – access via west bound Portland Avenue (entire lot)
Angel Museum - 656 Pleasant Street (all areas)
Iron Works South Parking Lot - 3rd Street & Grand Avenue (west side of lot between signs)
Iron Works North Parking Lot – Ironworks & 3rd Street (north end between signs)
Fourth 4th Street Public Parking – Westside of 4th Street between La Casa Grande & Brass Rail (center rows between signs)
West Grand Public Parking - 229 West Grand Avenue (between signs)
Telfer Park Parking Lot - 2100 Cranston Road (between signs)
