Madison Police look for suspects after downtown stabbing


MADISON (WKOW) -- The Madison Police Department says they're looking for suspects after a stabbing downtown.

The incident happened on the 1200 block of Williamson Street at Jolly Bob's Bar. Police say they're looking for eight to ten black suspects in their 20s. The suspects were wearing dark clothing.

A 26-year-old man from Madison and a 28-year-old man from Madison were stabbed. The victims were outside smoking when they exchanged words with some other people. Physical fights broke out outside the bar. At some point during the altercation, the victims realized they had been stabbed and left for the hospital.

The incident happened about 2:00 a.m. on Sunday.
