Officials look for Beaver Dam hit-and-run suspect


BEAVER DAM (WKOW) -- Dodge County Sheriff deputies are looking for any information regarding a hit-and-run accident that happened early Sunday morning south of Beaver Dam.

Officials say a vehicle hit a pedestrian around 2:30 a.m. on Madison Street.  A dark colored sedan hit a 33-year-old man from behind at around 40 - 45 mph.  The driver did not stop and drove off.

A witness says there was significant damage to the right front corner of the vehicle and possibly the windshield.

The victim was taken to UW Hospital in Madison for life threatening injuries.
