EAU CLAIRE (WKOW) -- Xcel Energy encouraged its customers to help conserve natural gas and turn the thermostat down to 60 degrees Saturday. A natural gas pipeline in Manitoba, Canada burst and according to the company the explosion impacted two other associated pipelines as well. More than a thousand customers were effected.

Xcel says that at least one of the pipelines is already back up and running. They hope to have service restored to all three pipelines sometime Monday.
