Sen. Tammy Baldwin asks President Obama to take action on propane shortage
WASHINGTON D.C. (WKOW) -- U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin has asked President Barack Obama to moderate exports of propane after a shortage has plagued the Midwest.
In a letter, the democratic senator requested an "immediate response", saying regional supplies of propane have reached critical levels. She added that Wisconsin residents are having trouble heating their homes during the rough winter.
Baldwin says the moderation would, "ensure American consumers have the fuel they need to keep warm through the winter."
