MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- A new Marquette Law School poll shows a close race between Governor Scott Walker and Democratic challenger Mary Burke.
Results from the poll of 802 registered voters shows, 47% would vote for Walker, while 41% support Burke, with a +/- 3.5% margin of error.
A Marquette poll conducted in October showed Walker with a smaller edge over burke, at 47% to 45%.
The poll also showed Governor Walker's approval rating is similar to past polls. The poll says 51% of voters approve of how the Republican governor is handling is job, while 42 percent disapprove, and six percent say they're not sure.
