Judge to sentence Wisconsin father in starvation case


MADISON (WKOW) -- The Madison father accused of starving his teenage daughter and locking her in the basement is set to be sentenced.

42-year-old Chad Chritton was convicted of child abuse and other charges in November and also was found guilty of felony child neglect in March. Sentencing is on Wednesday and he faces up to 28 years in prison and a fine of $55,000.

In July, the girls stepmother was sentenced to 5 years in prison for reckless endangerment and causing mental harm to a child. Her step brother will stand trial next month on allegations that he sexually abused her.
