MADISON (WKOW) --It was a beautiful 70 degrees and sunny in Madison on Tuesday, you just needed to know where to look.
Those looking to get out of the cold found the perfect spot at the Olbrich Botanical Gardens, where inside the Bolz Conservatory, you can immerse yourself in a nice, warm tropical climate.
One visitor said, "On the coldest day of the year, we just had to come here where it's warm."
Ann Hayden, the Director of Development and Marketing at Olbrich Gardens says, "The conservancy is a tropical paradise and its the cheapest way to get to Florida."
To warm up at the botanical gardens, it costs just $2 for an adult, and children 5 and under get in free.
