WI mom honoring memories of daughters killed

RIVER FALLS (WKOW) -- Aaron Schaffhausen is serving life behind bars for the murders of his three daughters back in 2012.

The girls mother, Jessica Peterson, is working to honor their memory.  Peterson and the community of River Falls have raised nearly $250,000 for the Tri-Angles Playground in memory of Amara (11), Sophie (8) and Cecilia (5).  The cost of the playground is estimated at $550,000.

Peterson misses her girls and will always carry the pain of losing them, but she's trying to make them proud.  She has since remarried and is seven-months pregnant.
