MADISON (WKOW) -- Parts of the Monona Terrace reopened this week after a major $2.5 million dollar renovation.
This weekend those new amenities will go on display at a public open house. Gregg McManners, the executive director at Monona Terrace, joins Wake Up Wisconsin.
Major projects include replacement of carpet throughout the building featuring a new design by Architect Anthony Puttnam who worked with Mr. Wright at Taliesin, new plug and play workstations at former pay phone areas, enhancement of the artwork on level 4 with a new presentation of the existing Guerrero images, and a photo and poetry exhibition, curated by David Wells, entitled Reflections:Madison.
The open house will be on Sunday, February 2 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 1 John Nolen Drive.
