MADISON (WKOW) -- Wisconsin's state Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection continues to receive complaints against propane suppliers for failing to honor delivery contracts.
Sandy Chalmers, an administrator for the agency, says 27 formal complaints have been filed since Wednesday claiming suppliers are failing to deliver pre-paid propane, charging higher prices and adding new delivery charges.
Chalmers says the agency has launched an investigation into Customer's Gas Service in Amberg which received four complaints--the most about any single provider.
The Associated Press says it left a message at the business Friday, but it was not immediately returned.
