MADISON (WKOW) -- While most of us drive to work during the winter months, others braved the cold with a more unconventional approach on Wednesday. Dozens of people traded in their keys for pedals to celebrate winter bike to work day.
But for some, this day is just like any other.
Bill Miller, who bikes to work nearly every day says, "My commute is ten miles one way, when I started four years ago I was 40 pounds heavier than I am today, I was also taking medicine for blood pressure and cholesterol I'm now a little bit lighter and I don't take any medicine."
Cyclists could stop at several stations along the way to work this morning for a warm up with coffee and breakfast.
