MADISON (WKOW) -- UW Hospital is notifying some patients and staff members that they may have been exposed to measles.
The hospital says a patient came into the emergency room on February 1 and left February 3.
Lab results that came in Wednesday night show the patient had the virus that causes measles.
Officials are contacting patients who were in the hospital during that time frame and who may be at risk for measles.
Anyone who was there and has not been vaccinated for measles should contact Public Health - Madison and Dane County.
