Ask Toula: Can any dog be a WAGS dog?

Posted: Updated:
Question: Can any dog be a WAGS dog? Where do you find WAGS dogs?

Answer: Not every dog can be a service dog because there are certain qualities that are needed to be a successful service dog. WAGS puppies are carefully chosen from selected breeders based on health, temperament and work drive. WAGS finds Golden and Labrador Retrievers uniquely qualified for service dog work due to their size, strength and temperament.

I came from Strike Golden in Hayward, WI and my brother, Truman is in the WAGS program right now too. If you'd like to know more about where I came from, you can check out their website here.

Be sure to check out some new pictures of me posted here or ask me a question on the form!
