DETROIT (WKOW) -- Graco is recalling nearly 3.8 million car seats because kids can be trapped by buckles that may not unlatch.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says it has received at least 80 complaints about the seats. Parents have reported using excessive force to unlatch the buckle, and in some cases, they've had to cut the straps to get their children free.
The recall covers 11 models sold between 2009 and 2013. Here are the models affected:

Graco is offering customers a replacement harness buckle at no cost. If you have one of the models involved, you should contact Graco customer service at 800-345-4109 (Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.) or via email at email@example.com.
