Plane crash lands at airport north of Green Bay

OCONTO (WKOW) -- A plane crash landed at the Oconto Airport Thursday, north of Green Bay, with 5 people on board.

3 were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Oconto County sheriff's deputy Troy Sherman told Press-Gazette Media the pilot notified Austin Straubel International Airport around 3:30 p.m. that the plane's instruments and wings were icing up and he would make an emergency landing in Oconto.

Twenty minutes later the twin engine Cessna landed, skid off the runway and was heavily damaged.

The pilot and co-pilot refused treatment.
