MADISON (WKOW) -- Several local organizations are coming together to bring peace to Madison neighborhoods.

The local non-profit "Today Not Tomorrow," also known as Club TNT, is partnering with the Madison Police Department to launch a new program called Peacemakers.

The announcement came Thursday at the Neighborhood House Community Center in Madison.

Organizers say the focus of the effort will be aimed at teenagers and young adults and their relationship with police officers.

The Peacemakers program will consist of community forums, speak outs, and educational videos. The program will initially focus on four neighborhoods, including the Marquette and Williamson Street area, Worthington Park, Brams Addition and Theresa Terrace.

Club TNT is a local non-profit that's mission is to promote community and neighborhood relations.
