Event raises money for United Cerebral Palsy

Posted: Updated:
MADISON (WKOW) -- People gathered Saturday night to show their support for those living with debilitating diseases.

The annual United Cerebral Palsy Celebrity Banquet and Auction raises money for United Cerebral Palsy of Dane County. The organization offers help to adults and children in our area with a variety of developmental diseases, including cerebral palsy.

"It's a really fun event because we have the local celebrities come and we kind of turn the tables and we have our celebrities serve as the wait staff," says Trisha Davies, UCP director of Marketing and Development.

27 News is a proud sponsor of the event. Wake Up Wisconsin anchor Dani Maxwell and 27 Sports director Lance Veeser were celebrity servers at this year's dinner.
