Posted: Updated:
MADISON (WKOW) -- Raeanna Mary Johnson was crowned Sunday night as Miss Madison. She is 23-years-old and from Holmen.

Johnson is a senior communications and women's study major at UW-LaCrosse, and will now go on to compete for the title of Miss Wisconsin on June 21 in Oshkosh.

She has held that title once before in 2012, when the then Miss Wisconsin, Laura Kaeppler became Miss America. Johnson was the Miss Wisconsin runner-up that year.

Ten women competed for the Miss Madison title Sunday night including first runner-up Madeline Joy Anderson, 22, of West Salem, a biological sciences junior at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in Minneapolis.

You can watch the Miss America pageant right here on ABC. It will be televised from Atlantic City in September.
