Forest Co. man to serve 11 years for day care assault

Posted: Updated:
CRANDON (WKOW) -- A Forest County man has been sentenced to eleven and a half years in prison for sexually assaulting children at his mother's day care.

William Anderson, of Crandon, was convicted of five felonies in a plea agreement with Forest County prosecutors.  Those felonies include repeated sexual assault of a child and exposing himself to young kids.

The incidents happened last year, between January and September, involving children ranging in age from four to six.  The complaint states Anderson would occasionally watch the children while his mother ran errands.

Following his prison term, 39-year-old Anderson will also serve 12 years of supervision and has been ordered to write letters of apology to his victims and their families.
