Beloit man arrested for attempted homicide

BELOIT (WKOW) -- Tuesday evening, Beloit police were called to a home in the 300 block of Short Street for the report of a stabbing. 

When officers arrived, they spoke with 44-year-old Vicky Wilson who had suffered a  stab wound to her hand and was outside.  The suspect, 23-year-old Luis Munoz, also exited the home and surrendered to officers.  Munoz had a cut to his hand.

Upon entering the home, officers discovered another victim, 72-year-old Bobbie Wilson, lying in a bedroom.  Bobbie suffered multiple stab wounds.  The victims and suspect reside together.

Both victims were taken to Beloit Memorial Hospital for treatment.  Vicky was treated and released.  Bobbie was then transferred to Janesville's Mercy Hospital.

Munoz was also taken to Beloit Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injury.  He has been arrested for attempted first degree intentional homicide.  This incident remains under investigation.
