New UW System President stays busy in his first week on the job

MADISON (WKOW) -- New university of Wisconsin System President Ray Cross officially started the job on Monday.

Cross said his first week has gone good so far, and he's already working to get things done. He has pledged to improve the transparency of system finances and said he wants to collaborate more closely with state lawmakers.

Cross joined us on 27 News at 5 on Thursday to talk about his first week.
