UPDATE: 7 people injured in crash in northwest Dane County

DANE COUNTY (WKOW) -- Dane County Sheriff's deputies and the Cross Plains Police Department responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of County Highway P and County Highway K at approximately 7:12 p.m. Friday night.

Officers report that seven people were involved in the crash, after the driver of one vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and ran into the other vehicle.

Everyone involved in the crash sustained injuries. Two patients were taken by Med Flight helicopter, while the rest were taken for treatment by ambulances.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dane County Sheriff's Office.


DANE COUNTY (WKOW) -- Dane County Deputy Sheriffs are at the scene of a crash near the Town of Springfield.

Officers say the road will likely be closed for several more hours.

The Dane County Sheriff's office tells 27 News that that two cars crashed at the intersection of County Highway K and P.

Seven people were in the two vehicles and deputies are reporting multiple injuries. Two helicopters were called to the scene.
