West Allis Detective who died after childbirth to be laid to rest

WEST ALLIS (WKOW) -- Law enforcement officers from across Wisconsin are expected to take part in the funeral possession for a detective who died shortly after giving birth.

Stacie Napoli, was a 17-year veteran of the West Allis Police Department. She died a week ago from complications related to the birth of her twins. The funeral procession starts Monday at a New Berlin funeral home, makes a stop at the West Allis Police Department before continuing on to a cemetery in New Berlin. Flags are at half-staff in honor of Napoli

Mayor Dan Devine tells our affiliate WISN that many in the community and elsewhere have contributed to a fund to help Napoli's family.
