Erin Andrews will co-host Dancing With The Stars

LOS ANGELES (WKOW) --- Erin Andrews will be the new co-host of Dancing With The Stars.

Brooke Burke-Charvet announced last week she was no longer co-hosting the show.   She released a statement to E Online last week.  "I have enjoyed seven seasons co-hosting DWTS but understand the need for change considering the position of the show at this juncture," Burke-Charvet said. "I've always been one to embrace change and [I'm] looking forward to pursuing opportunities I previously wasn't able to entertain because of contractual obligations to the show. I've seen my fair share of shocking eliminations in the ballroom, but this one takes the cake."

Andrews competed in the 10th season of Dancing With The Stars.

Earlier this month, DWTS also announced their longtime music director, Harold Wheeler and his 28 member band would no longer be on the show.    They will be replaced with a smaller electric band.

As for who will be participating this year, the names will be announced live on Good Morning America on March 4.

The new season will begin on March 17 here on WKOW.
