UPDATE: Police release pictures of suspect in bank robbery

MADISON (WKOW) -- Police released pictures Thursday of the man who robbed a bank in Madison Wednesday night.

The pictures show the suspect wearing sunglasses and a scarf to cover his face.

Police say the man robbed the Associated Bank branch inside the Copps on Whitney Way around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. He got cash and took off on foot. He is still on the loose, as of Thursday evening.

Detectives believe this robbery could be connected to a holdup on Feb. 20 at the Associated Bank on McKee Road.

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Police are searching for a suspect who robbed the Associated Bank inside Copps grocery store on Whitney Way Wednesday night.

Police say the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. 

The suspect is described as a white male, 6 feet, 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, black pants, and his face was covered by a scarf.
