WAUKESHA (WKOW) -- Friends remember a Waukesha man who was killed in an apparent drive-by shooting in St. Louis, MO as a happy-go-lucky guy with no enemies.
20-year-old Nicholas Kapusniak was fatally shot while outside in a backyard of a home near the St. Louis College of Pharmacy on Saturday. Fellow pharmacy student Jacob Beyer said he, Kapusniak and about 20 others were "just hanging out" when shots were fired from a nearby alley.
According to the St. Louis Police Chief there was no confrontation that provoked the shooting.
Kapusniak was 2011 graduate of Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha, and was a member of the 2017 class and the Alpha Zeta Omega professional fraternity at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy.
