Sauk County authorities identify victim in weekend crash

Posted: Updated:
MADISON (WKOW) --  The Sauk County Sheriff's Office says Terry J. Fisher was the victim in a Sunday morning single-car crash in Baraboo.

The 58-year-old Fisher is from Baraboo.

The sheriff's office says Fisher was driving north on Lehman Road when he lost control of his vehicle while going over a hill.  It rolled over and came to rest on its roof, pinning Fisher inside.

The sheriff's office says alcohol is believed to be a factor and Fisher was not wearing a seatbelt.

Deputies responded to the crash around 12:35 a.m. Sunday and Sauk County Coroner Greg Hahn pronounced Fisher dead at the scene.

This is the first accident with a death in Sauk County this year.
