Firefighters rescue woman from house fire

 FON DU LAC (WKOW) --  Fond du Lac firefighters battled flames and extreme cold to rescued a woman from a house fire Monday morning.
 
Fire crews went to a two-story house in Fon du Lac around 8:30 a.m., and within minutes rescued a woman who had been trapped inside, pulling her from a first-floor window. The woman was taken to a hospital.

The exact cause of the fire is not known, but investigators believe it was electrical.

Frozen fire hydrants slowed firefighters.

A total of 55 fire personnel from five fire departments were at the scene.
