LAKE DELTON (WKOW) -- The Sauk County Sheriff's Office's dispatch center says a man fell from an indoor roller coaster at Mt. Olympus Theme Park & Water Resort in Lake Delton.

Officials say the 64-year-old man fell 15 to 20 feet from the OPA! roller coaster and landed on the floor around 5:40 p.m. Thursday. It's unclear at this point on the extent or severity of his injuries, or his current condition.

Paramedics took the man to St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo and he was then taken by Med Flight to UW Hospital in Madison.

Investigators say three other people were in the same car of the roller coaster as the victim. None of the three were hurt.

Investigators say the man is from out of town and was at the resort with family.

The Lake Delton Police Department says it is not investigating the case as criminal, but the Wisconsin chapter of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) was called and will be on scene Friday. Police say staff members at the resort were cooperative and reported the incident immediately to the state.
