Posted: Updated:
MADISON (WKOW) -- Put on your dancing shoes, and get ready to boogie for a good cause this weekend at the sixth annual Wisconsin Dance Marathon.

University of Wisconsin students and members of the Madison community are going to dance for 12 hours to raise money for American Family Children's Hospital. The Dance Marathon is on Saturday, March 8 from noon to midnight at the Union Great Hall.

The theme of the Dance Marathon this year is, "We dance because we can. We stand for those who can't."

In the past five years, the Dance Marathon has raised more than $300,000 for American Family Children's Hospital.
