Bike-O-Rama has something for everyone

Posted: Updated:
MADISON (WKOW) -- Local Madison bike shops are hosting the 21st annual Bike-O-Rama this weekend at the Alliant Energy Center Arena.

The event has thousands of new and older model bicycles on sale at reduced prices. Common bicycle accessories such as helmets and clothing are also available. Bike-O-Rama features models for every kind of activity.

"It really reflects all the different cycling interests of southern Wisconsin," says Bike-O-Rama organizer, Roger Charly. "Whether you're doing a triathlon or a charity ride or you're getting a 4-year-old a new bicycle, it's the whole gamut of people that love to get out and bicycle."

Professional mechanics are on hand to answer questions and help customers set up their new bicycles. The event also includes a stunt show featuring
veteran rider Jeff Lenosky. Bike-O-Rama continues through March 9.
